The Hitachi AAA tube has a Cyanosis Observation Index (COI) below the Australian Hospital Standard and the highest Colour Rendition Index (CRI) of all lamps on the market. Hitachi AAA's CRI is 3.0, which is below the CRI requirement of Australian Hospital Standard (that must not exceed CRI 3.3). No UV discharge means the lamp will not produce discoloration of objects.
Lamp application is for areas that require perfect color rendition, such as hospital's operating theater, patient treatment rooms, consultation rooms, accident emergency rooms.
